SMC2635W Linux Driver

The SMC2635W 802.11b (11mbps) wireless lan pcmcia (cardbus) card has a ADMTek 8211 chip in it, so use their drivers:

http://www.admtek.com.tw/download/ADM8211.htm

However, the so-called source-package contains a binary, which was compiled using gcc2 - if you use a kernel which was compiled using gcc3 (e.g. kernel-images-2.4.22 from debian), you cannot load the module. I wrote a mail to ADM (nic_ts@admtek.com.tw), but you may as well write one yourself if you have the same problem as I do.
