SyncML for kXML

Introduction

While working on the Sync4j project (see my paper for details) I needed a SyncML-capable WBXML parser. kXML seemed right, as it supported already WBXML - but only partially. The feature missing were multiple code pages, of which SyncML makes heavily use.

My enhanced version of kXML does support now multiple code pages and comes with ready to use SyncML WBXML support (see the examples in the tarball).

Download

You can download my alpha stage code, but please understand that this code might not work at all for you. Use at your own risk.

Known problems

OPAQUE support does not yet work fully with this version, this is a known bug of kXML. There is a bleeding edge version which addresses this bug (contact me at nicola.fankhauser at variant.ch for more details).
